Course overview
The Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) course introduces operatives to the essentials of construction site safety and is the preferred classroom route to the CSCS Green Labourer Card.
It blends toolbox-style discussions with real-world hazard spotting so new entrants can recognise risks, control measures and legal responsibilities from day one.
Use our guide to understand the topics covered, assessment format and how to combine HSA with the CITB HS&E test for your Green Card application.
